jarrett smith is an emerging singer-songwriter and performer in philadelphia melding piano-forward indie pop with high powered soulful vocals.

as a queer and mixed-race artist, jarrett brings all of himself and his intersecting identities into his music, inspired by his diverse upbringing and musical icons such as jeff buckley and john legend.

in december 2024, jarrett released his debut EP titled “don’t write anything in pen.”

jarrett’s music extends beyond venues and theaters into the streets; as a labor organizer and activist, he also shares his voice at political rallies and protests across the city.
